Management Team

James C. Russo
President and Chief Executive Officer

Jim Russo is President and Chief Executive Officer of Princeton Financial® Systems, LLC., a wholly owned subsidiary of State Street Corporation, a position he has held since October 1999. Under Jim's leadership, Princeton Financial's business has expanded to include more than 430 clients on six continents, where an aggregate US $5 trillion are either managed or accounted for on Princeton's products. Jim is committed to the partnership between education and business. Jim is a member of the New Jersey Technical Council's forum for education and makes himself personally available to work with educators in the secondary and higher education institutions to promote this partnership. Jim is also the chair of the Advisory Board for Enterprise Management Consulting Practice at Temple University's Fox School of Business. Jim earned his master's degree from Felician College in New Jersey and his bachelor's degree from Pace University in New York.

Scott Ferrante
Chief Operating Officer

Scott Ferrante has over 20 years of experience in portfolio accounting, securities processing, software development and management. Prior to joining PFS in 1992, Scott held several management positions in investment operations at Crum & Foster. Additionally, he was a consultant with Price Waterhouse (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) in investment management security operations. Scott earned his BA in Economics and Finance from Upsala College and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

William T. McCloskey
Chief Administrative Officer

Bill McCloskey has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology in both the public and private sectors including Financial Services, Department of Defense and Commercial Communications industries. Since joining PFS in 1994, Bill has developed and formalized the Quality Management System (QMS), and has lead various management teams within Applications Development, including Quality Assurance, Release Management and Software Maintenance. Currently, Bill has senior management responsibility for the Technology teams that support the internal and external technological infrastructure such as Data Center Operations, Internal Technical Support, Client Technical Support, and Network Architecture.  Bill serves as the PFS Information Security Officer and Compliance Manager.  Bill is also responsible for liaisoning with management teams that control Facilities Management and Physical Security. Other functions managed by Bill include Corporate Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Corporate Continuity,  PFS Marketing and Global Events. Bill has a BA degree in Computer Science from LaSalle University and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

Charles D. Morris
Chief Technology Officer

Charlie Morris is responsible for the strategic planning of the PAM® application as well as Princeton Financial® Systems' SaaS and corporate infrastructures. Under his direction, Princeton Financial designed and developed advanced integration interfaces and embarked upon the redesign of PAM's user presentation and middle-tier architecture. He has also led efforts to upgrade the company's storage and backup technology through the procurement and implementation of a storage area network and enterprise backup; to improve corporate information security through the installation of centralized software management, infrastructure monitoring and network intrusion detection technologies; and to reduce disaster recovery times via the implementation of a remote recovery hot site. Charlie is also an accomplished speaker, panelist, and author spreading the Princeton Financial Systems technology vision globally throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Before becoming Chief Technology Officer in 2001 and since joining PFS in 1993, Charlie was responsible for a variety of PAM system initiatives. These spanned software, hardware and network technologies focused on enhancing product performance and scalability. Charlie has over 25 years of experience in managing and developing software products for military, medical and financial markets. Prior to joining Princeton Financial, Charlie was Director of Software Engineering at TeleScan Limited, a developer of teleradiological medical systems. Earlier in his career, Charlie developed flight simulation, cognitive training, anti-submarine warfare and naval intelligence systems for the US government. Charlie holds a BS from Moravian College and an MS in computer science from Villanova University.

Michael B. Dahl
Vice President, Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Michael Dahl is Vice President, Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Princeton Financial Systems, LLC., a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Street Corporation.  Michael is responsible for advising executive management on legal and business matters and for managing the global legal affairs of the company, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, licensing, international transactions, consulting and strategic alliances. He also directs and manages Princeton Financial's worldwide intellectual property program. Prior to joining Princeton Financial in 2002 as General Counsel, Michael provided legal solutions to public and private corporate clients at the Princeton office of national law firm Fox Rothschild. Michael is on the board of directors for CancerCare of NJ for the greater Mercer area. Michael earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado State University.

 

Goetz Bernhardi 
Managing Director

Goetz Bernhardi is Managing Director of Princeton Financial Systems, GmbH and member of Princeton Financial's Senior Management Team.  He was co-founder, shareholder, and CEO of Aquin Components prior to the acquisition by Princeton Financial Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of State Street Corporation.  Goetz Bernhardi joined Aquin in 1994, when it was still Aquilla Consult.  He was an authorized signatory and product development manager at that time.  In 1999 Goetz established Aquin Components GbmH as managing director.  Under his leadership, the company continuously expanded its product portfolio and has become the leading provider of investment compliance software in Europe.  Goetz as long-term expertise in the finance and software industry and in financial business applications.  Prior to Aquin, he worked as a consultant with H&H software, a pioneer in virtual, network based-CD ROM and DVD Management software and as an independent software engineer.  Goetz holds his degree in Economic Science from the University of Goettingen, Germany.
